academic, professional, and personal goals. In the essay, applicants
should also describe the impact that a Walt Scholarship would have on achieving
those goals. In order to provide study abroad funding assistance to a wider population of students, Cowles Fellows who receive a travel stipend as part of their fellowship to study at Simpson are not eligible to apply for a Walt Scholarship nor are past Walt Scholarship recipients eligible to apply for an additional award.
All Walt

of college faculty and administrators.
Applicants will be notified of their status within four weeks of the
application deadline. The scholarship application is part of the online study abroad application. If you have questions please contact Director of International Education, Jay Wilkinson (jay.wilkinson@simpson.edu).
