What is Included:
The scholarship covers tuition costs at the Institute for four weeks of Spanish language classes, and accommodations with a local Spanish-speaking host family along with three meals per day provided by the host family. The four weeks can begin on any Monday during the May through August period.
What is not Included:
Scholarship recipients are responsible for covering the costs related to their transportation to their host family's home in Mérida, any local tours they choose to participate in, their personal expenses, and spending money they require.
Estimated Costs:
PLEASE NOTE: Since this we're offering a scholarship for 4 weeks of intensive Spanish language study, it is NOT NECESSARY to make the normal $200 deposit payment to the Business Office in support of this application.
Program Description
Simpson College is able to offer one scholarship covering four weeks of Spanish language instruction at IMS in Merida each summer.
